Where should I buy the skin care of Japanese brand such as Shu uemura and IPSA? Between in department store and duty free at the airport (Narita)?

I have never checked the DUTY FREE store's selection, but major department stores (such as Isetan and Takashimaya in Shinjuku or Mitsukoshi in Ginza) offers TAX FREE service for foreigners.
Also, I don't think IPSA does not sell in Narita. I guess it is safer to purchase at department stores. Although, DUTY FREE stores in Narita sometimes have limited editions, so if you are looking for something specially made for DUTY FREE stores, you should visit the shop in Narita airport.
