I don't know about this area and transportation, so I searched on Google.
I found a PDF with information at the website of Nohi Bus in the menu called "Route Bus" > ”Shirakawa-go / Kanazawa / Toyama Line”
It seems like a reservation is required. You can make reservation from the Website written in the pdf.
