It’s covered by the JR pass. Seats can be booked through internet but you cannot select specific seat number and box seats. If you definitely want to reserve box seat, you have to physically come to ticket office at any JR stations and reserve it.

Not in Tokyo. It’s In Kamakura,One hour by train from Tokyo.Restaurant named ‘Naruto ya tenzo’ Is my favorite. Only one course menu or udon is available and no animal oriented food is used. Yes it’s vegan.

How about Kamakura? One hour from central Tokyo by train and there are many good temples and shrines. And there are good cafes as well where you can take rest. Kamakura was a capital city of Japan 800 years ago when Samurai started governing Japanese society.

Yes I think so. 3days pass cost 1500 yen(=$14) Minimum charge of metro is 170(cash) or 165(ic card). So if you take 9 times or more, it’s worth it

I don’t think you can buy summer clothes in winter in Japan as we have relatively clear-cut four seasons. I guess people who need to buy summer cloths in winter are buying them on line.
