1. AFURI (AFURI 原宿)
AFURI is named after Mt. AFURI which is on the east edge of the Tanzawa mountains in Kanagawa prefecture. Mt. Afuri was full of good water and harvest so many people made pilgrimages there so they could reap the same benefits. AFURI can be roughly translated to “higher” which is a philosophy they try to attain. This means that at AFURI you will find a great ramen. Ramen Dining Jingu is a tonkotsu and gyukostu base ramen store that is sure to be a good treat for anyone near Meiji Jingumae Station. They are a vending machine- type store. You buy your ramen at a vending machine and hand in your ticket. It is sure to be a great store with their delicious meats and toppings and their thin and delightful noodles. They are an excellent choice for anyone looking for a hearty ramen lunch (or dinner).

3. Hajime (一)
Hajime is a ramen shop with delicious noodles and broth. It is only about a 5-minute walk from Harajuku Station and is a very reasonable priced meal. The toppings are delicious with such things as pork and green onion widely available. Hajime’s signature menu is tsukemen or dipping noodles. It is a vending machine restaurant where you order via a vending machine and hand in your ticket to receive your ramen.

4. Oreryu Shio Ramen Jingumae (俺流塩らーめん 神宮前)
Oreryu focuses on creating its own style of Shio Ramen. The broth is fast cooked in a pressure cooker so unlike slow boiling it still has all the sweetness inside the broth and has no hint of bad odor. The broth itself looks as if someone poured soy milk over the noodles though be rest assured it is only made from chicken bones and green onion with salt and not soy milk. It is a tasty and filling meal for whoever decides to go there.

5. Eitomen (永斗麺 神南店)
インテリアとBGMがCAFEなラーメン店『永斗麺(EIGHT MEN）』。 8人の男がいるのかと思ったら女性店員のみだった。 『さんまラーメン』780円をオーダー。 スープはさんまの油と醤油をイメージしていたが、さんまかどうかは分からない魚粉系の味。 麺は博多ラーメン的な極細麺で替え玉(120円)もできる。 トッピングにはうずらのたまごとチャーシュー(薄くて少なめ)があり、さらにテーブル調味料に刻み玉ネギがあったので大量に投入。マー油焦しニンニクとごまを入れたら博多ラーメンになってしまった。 次回は『えびラーメン』780円か『ほたてラーメン』820円を食べてみたい。 #ramen #ラーメン #渋谷 #永斗麺 #eightmen
Eitomen is a seafood based ramen store that sells delicious ramen such as scallop and their main jewel Sanma fish ramen. They serve thin noodles with a tonkotsu broth making it an interesting experience. It is a delicious meal for anyone wishing to try it. It is a recommended eatery in the area.

Seiya is a great place for anyone looking to find a great ramen shop. They serve a thick straight noodle with a chicken broth. They serve their ramen with thick, yummy pieces of roast pork and the soft boiled eggs are great. This store is definitely recommended to people looking for a fast and easy lunch.

9. Kyushu Jangara Ramen (九州じゃんがららあめん 原宿店)
Kyushu Jangara Ramen is part of a chain of ramen shops. They are a tonkotsu ramen shop that features not only thin charsu but big, thick pieces of braised pork belly. They not only sell tonkotsu ramen though as they also serve miso, spicy, and garlic ramen as well if you would like something different. They are quite a famous a famous ramen which has been featured on the in-flight menu of Japan Airlines and has even been served to former Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi. Ikkakuya is a great ramen shop located only a few minutes Meiji Jingumae Station making it easily accessible to anyone nearby. They serve good ramen with good skill. The ramen is displayed nicely when served to you. They offer a wide array of toppings yummy pork and dried seaweed in an interesting display.
