Harajuku Taproom was born out of love and passion of its owners for beer and its great history.
This bar has their own crafted beer called “Baird Beer” and it has a unique and distinct taste. When you enter the bar, you’ll find it pretty lax and quiet compared to other places. Although the food and drink are a bit pricey, you will definitely not regret your decision.

3. Watering Hole (ウォータリングホール)

Watering Hole is just a few minutes walk away from JR Yoyogi Station. They have a wide variety of Japanese and U.S beers. The food is nice and the staff can speak a bit of English so communicating is not a problem. Generally the main hall is a no smoking area, however, they have a small room that is exclusive for smokers. A great place to enjoy a pint of crafted beer and some snacks.

4. Ginza Lion Beer Hall (銀座ライオン)

One of the things that you can appreciate at the Ginza Lion Beer Hall aside from the beer is the staff. They are very friendly and move efficiently to take your order. The food arrives on time and they taste great. The porterhouse steak, caesar salad, and pizza are highly recommended! You don’t need to worry about your drink because they also serve bottomless orange juice which is a great thirst quencher after a day of wandering around the city.

5. Ant ‘n Bee

Although the place is small, it is considered as a gem for those who are looking for craft beers in Roppongi. If you are unsure on what to drink, you can pay a small fee to sample any of their beers. The overall ambiance of the place of the place seems to be that of a German bar (they also serve German Food!) and the staff also understands and speaks English which is a plus for foreigners who doesn’t speak Japanese.

6. Devil Craft

Rest assured, the staff won’t serve you any diabolical concoctions that would turn your brain into mush. Devil Craft is just a few minutes away from Kanda Station and is divided into 3 stories. The first floor serves as the bar room and the other two floors are used for dining. If you feel like drinking “Devilicious Beers” then you already know where to go.

It’s one of the few places in Japan where you can taste Chicago style Pizza!
